Black Field ((ギリシア語:Μαύρο Λιβάδι)) is a Greek film, directed by Vardis Marinakis. The film released in 2009 and it stars Sofia Georgovassili and Christos Passalis. It won one award in Hellenic Film Academy Awards in category Best Cinematography. An injured janissary asks a shelter in a women Orthodox monastery. The sisters look after the janissary but the presence of a man there brings a great upheaval in the life of the monastery. A young sister undertakes to look after him and she gradually fall in love with him. But their relationship reveals a hidden secret.
